Dykes, L.R.A.M., A.R.C.M., R.A.M. Dip.
Brenda
Dykes studied the flute and piano at the Royal Academy of Music.
She has had a long career as a performer playing on BBC radio
and television, as well as many of London’s major concert
halls. She has many years of teaching experience and a number
of her pupils have themselves become professional musicians. At
present Brenda teaches at Anglia Ruskin University, Homerton College
Cambridge, The Leys School Cambridge, and The King’s School
Ely. She is also an examiner for the Associated Board.
Brenda has recently produced a CD: “Music
for Flute and Organ” with organist Christopher Moore (Zig
Zag Music Productions).
