General Info

The Burwell Blow is open to youngsters between the ages of 11 and 17 with a minimum standard of grade 3 (Associated Board or similar) on their instrument. We will be catering for all abilities from grade 3 upwards, focusing on classical and jazz music.

Activities include ensemble playing, jazz and improvisation, and individual lessons. The ensembles include playing in separate instrument ‘choirs’ and one large ensemble including all students. However, all students are encouraged to take part in smaller ensemble groups, which have proved very popular, and can be anything from single instrument duets to larger groups of mixed instruments.
